People pretending to be on the ‘phone using various personally selected objects 2004

[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”29″ gal_title=”Telephone Exhibition”]

This exhibition was first held at Finnagora, Finnish cultural institute in Budapest in October 2004 and then transferred to the Matav (Hungarian Telecom) Gallery for a month (January 2005) after being used as the backdrop to the company’s annual launch at the Operetta Theatre.  I was also interviewed by Hungarian TV about the work.

All people were street cast and asked to pretend to be on the telephone with the object of their choice.

Jews and Arabs of Tunisia – a journey to Tunisia in the company of writer Aline P’Nina Tayar

In 1999 I accompanied writer Aline P’Nina Tayar to Tunisia in connection with research for her book, How Shall We Sing.  Later in October 2010 some of the images were shown in Budapest at two separate exhibitions. http://alinetayar.com/
